Albert Ross Tilley

In memory of Dr. Tilley, we have included a video detailing his life, accomplishments, and the impact he had on medicine for burn survivors. He understood the psychological impact of burns, and created a community of “Guinea Pigs” (what we now call peer support groups). He knew that the reconstruction of the spirit was just as important as the rebuilding of the bodies of his patients! In honour of Dr. Tilley, the burn centre at Sunnybrook Hospital was named after him.
