Tough Days

"If you feel like you hate everyone: eat something. If you feel like everyone hates you: go to sleep. If you feel like you hate yourself: have a shower. If you feel like everyone hates everyone: go outside."

Here’s a list of things you can do on those tougher days:

  1. Go outside: immerse yourself in nature, people watch, or find a beautiful view to gain some perspective

  2. Journal (your feelings and/or thoughts)

  3. Eat your favorite meal, whether that's cooking it yourself, or ordering it from a restaurant

  4. Help someone

  5. Make a list of positive experiences in your life or things for which you are grateful and/or appreciate

  6. Make a list of the traits you like or love about yourself

  7. Listen and/or dance to your favorite music

  8. Alternatively, find new music
