Louise Nayer

A child of burn survivors. In the podcast Our Mothers Ourselves, Louise Nayer recounts her childhood: “I was four when my parents were severely burned in a cellar explosion. My mother was facially disfigured. I didn’t see them for nine months. I had panic attacks when I got older and spent years writing a book about "the accident."
